The magnificent North American Aviation P-51 Mustang
This is truly the sleekest American fighter of World War II. Powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin engine, this aeroplane was capable of speeds in excess of 400 miles per hour. Armed with six M2 .50 caliber machine guns and a extra fuel tanks it could escort american bombers into the heart of Nazi Germany. This airplane remained in service well into the late 20th century with air forces of small countries. Today many samples still fly in the airshow circuit. It is a truly awsome sight for aviation enthusiasts.

Not a bad kit at all. Lacks the luster and refinement of Tamiya or Hasegawa, but builds easily and has an excellent level of detail. Originally issued in 1978. Decals are of very good quality. Not bad for a 26 year old kit!
